“I am very excited to work for an organization that supports women in every way,” said Cooley, “to empower them to achieve their goals and to live their best lives possible.

Cooley is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA) and has spent the past 14 years as CFO of other non-profits in the Syracuse area. Her career includes experience with agencies that provide support for homeless populations, teen pregnancy, and women’s shelters.

As CFO at YWCA MV, she aims to strengthen the finance department to best support the agency’s life-changing programs and services.

“I appreciate the variety of programs we provide to support survivors of violence,” said Cooley. “I look forward to playing a supporting role to keep these programs running to help women and families in this community.”
