MORE: Women face different health challenges through all the ages and stages of life, and Go Red for Women is there for all of them. The Go Red for Women Luncheon raises awareness about the fact that cardiovascular disease is the No. 1 cause of death for women. Money raised at the Luncheon will help fund research and programs to change that statistic.
About the Mohawk Valley Go Red for Women Luncheon
The Mohawk Valley Go Red for Women Luncheon is set for Thursday, May 1, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Delta Hotels by Marriott Utica. Alicia Brockway, Vice President, Business Banking Regional Manager, NBT Bank, is chair of the event. Erica Raspante will share her story of having a heart transplant at the age of 40 – two years and one day before the Luncheon. The Festival of Red begins at 10 a.m. and includes a silent auction, Hands-Only CPR demonstrations, networking and light bites. Lunch and the program begin at noon and include recognition of the Women of Impact and a special surprise award. CVS Health is the national sponsor.
