LITTLE FALLS, NY (August 25, 2022) – The Little Falls Cheese Festival committee is pleased to announce the addition of Les Moutons to the seventh annual Cheese Festival, which will be held Saturday, October 1, 2022.

The creation of the Canadian performance troupe CORPUS, the award-nominated Les Moutons is a carefully studied reenactment of the care for “sheep” that is often a key aspect of pastoral farm life. Performed in more than 100 festivals in over 25 countries, Les Moutons will be a featured attraction on Main Street along with a full gamut of New York cheesemakers, gourmet foods, craft beverages and more.

“We are all so excited for Les Moutons,” said Teri Chace of the Little Falls Cheese Festival committee. “We’re excited to see them live, and we’re excited to see how our visitors will react to the performances. It certainly won’t be something they’ll soon forget!”

Les Moutons will join an array of regional musical acts located along Main Street and two performances of Where is the Big Cheese Now?, a free cheese-themed play in the Food Truck Food Court, located in the M & T Bank parking lot. Festivities will run from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and include convenient shuttle buses for ease of parking.

The Little Falls Cheese Festival is New York State’s premier gathering of cheesemakers, with an estimated 8,000 people in attendance last year.
