In an effort to assist local businesses in connecting with job seekers, the Herkimer Working Solutions office has started a new initiative. Traditional job fairs have not been yielding great results since the pandemic and we read stories from across the nation and locally about employers needing workers. Starting now, we will highlight one employer each week to be on-site at our office on Thursdays from 10-12. We will share the employer’s name, open job titles and qualifications in the week leading up to their visit to get the word out to our local workforce. In addition, people who do not have a resume ready to go, can contact our office ahead of time to make an appointment to work with our staff to create one. We are hoping that this might help!
