Herkimer College Appoints Admissions Assistants

HERKIMER, NY, September 4, 2024 — Three individuals have been appointed to the position of admissions assistant at Herkimer College.

Jenna Faulkner, of Oneida, previously was a marketing manager for Shakedown Street, where she developed social media content and collaborated with local businesses. Faulkner holds an associate degree in studio art from Herkimer College. She was also captain of the women’s basketball team and a two-time NJCAA all-region player.

Michael Harrington, of Queensbury, was a college access advisor at SUNY Adirondack, responsible for advising prospective students and maintaining student records. Harrington also was pitching coach for SUNY Adirondack’s baseball program. He holds master’s and bachelor’s degrees in sports management from SUNY Cortland and an associate degree in liberal arts and sciences from Herkimer College.

Steven Luby, of Little Falls, brings 33 years of experience as a high school educator in the areas of social studies and physical education. He also has coached at the high school and college level throughout his career. Luby is currently head coach for the Mohawk Valley Diamond Dogs in Little Falls. He holds a bachelor's degree in law enforcement with a minor in social studies and certifications in physical education, social studies, and physical education from Western Oregon State College.
