New Hartford, NY- First Source is honored to have had Melodie Greiner, Herkimer Branch Manager, as an outstanding and dedicated part of our team for the last 25 years. Mel will be retiring in March. She joined First Source in 1999 as an Assistant Branch Manager, coming to us from Herkimer County Trust. Mel shared a passion for her community as a member of the Herkimer County Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, and held the role of President of the Herkimer Chamber for 2 years.

“It has been an honor to work for First Source for the past 25 years,” said Melodie Greiner, First Source Herkimer Branch Manager. “I cannot thank our members enough for placing their trust in, and allowing me, to help them with their financial needs. I truly cherish what First Source represents, and the many friends I have made through the years. Taking care of our staff and our members has always been my top priority, and I will truly miss it.” Mel is looking forward to enjoying more time with her children and grandchildren.

With Mel retiring, we would also like to extend a warm welcome to our new Herkimer Branch Manager, Tammy Smith! Tammy has been getting acclimated to our Herkimer branch since December. Tammy comes to us from Citizens Bank, with 27 years of banking experience.

“I have heard many great things about First Source and am now experiencing them for myself,” said Tammy Smith, New Herkimer Branch Manager. “I look forward to being able to help not only my members but also our community. I am already enjoying working with the First Source team, and showing our members how important they are, while continuing to provide the same great service that they have always received.”
