New Hartford, NY- First Source Federal Credit Union is pleased to announce two recent Branch Manager appointments. Kaitlin Tibbitts has joined the Washington Mills Branch as Branch Manager, and Karina Casaletta has joined the Rome Branch as Branch Manager.

Kaitlin has 15 years of experience in the financial industry, 10 with First Source. She began her career with First Source as a part time teller and worked in a multitude of successive positions and departments throughout the Credit Union’s footprint, learning all aspects of service and lending and then into management positions.

“Working my way up through the ladder at First Source is something I take a lot of pride in as I feel it has made me a stronger, more well-rounded leader,” said Kaitlin Tibbitts, Washington Mills Branch Manager. “I will continue to lead by example ensuring my team delivers exceptional Member Service and they themselves become the leaders of tomorrow.”

Before entering the financial industry, Kaitlin earned her degree in education, and obtained valuable management experience in a retail environment. She is passionate about spending time with family, exploring new places and all our area has to offer. She especially enjoys providing opportunities and positive experiences for others.

Karina began her career with First Source in August, when she was hired as the Rome Branch Manager. She previously worked at M&T Bank for 5 years, where she started on the teller line and worked her way to Branch Manager. Karina is also a dance instructor at Empire Center of Dance in Marcy.

“I love spending my time helping our Rome Members, volunteering, and giving back to my community; and I love that First Source gives me the opportunity to do so,” said Karina Casaletta, Rome Branch Manager. “It means the world to me to be where I am right now with this organization. I love being a part of the First Source Family, and being able to continue growing my team to be the best we can be for our Members.”
